Google Home App Reviews

Like a lot of people, the Chromecast icon doesnt show up on Crackle, Twitch, YouTube, and most other streaming apps. Only works for Netflix. Its a bit frustrating as that is what I purchased Chromecast for. It would be nice if it was fixed and/or updated quickly!

Chromecast ignores app settings and keeps downloading HD wallpapers when idle. Theres no way to turn off the backdrops! Uses several gigs of data per day when idle. Please Fix!

I was reading the reviews here and thought, okay, this is going to be terrible and it isnt going to work. But, I am visiting relatives, and decided to try anyway as I needed a way to get Netflix to their TVs for my daughter. I downloaded this, immediately connected to their device, and was up and running in around 45 seconds.

I should have read the reviews before updating. I updated the app before going away with my family for the weekend. We were about to watch some movies and chrome cast is not working. Its the same issues that many users have complained about in their reviews. I cannot believe that Google has not fix this since I am sure they are looking at the reviews. I have to now purchase roku. Beware; DO NOT UPDATE!

Does exactly what I need with no problems. Streams videos to tv.

Why????? We use YouTube as music app. And its Google website so why no support?

Im no longer able to cast from my tablet. Never had a problem with chromecast. How do I fix this? I want my chromecast back NOW!

Cast does NOT support apple products. It states this clear on its website. This is a big waste of time.

There are so many crashes and bugs and I cant update the settings at all. 1 star not recommended.

It works fine until the commercial ends. I have to go on my phone press pause and then press play again to get the show starting. Its really annoying to have to do this 3 or more times while watching a show. DONT BUY THE CHROMECAST ITS NOT WORTH IT!

Same complaints as everyone else. Worked fine, a few bugs here and there, but did its job. Not it wont connect, buffers a lot. Really disappointed.

I cant watch Netflix on my IPad and most of the apps doesnt work.

It does not work anymore after the update on 03/24/2016!!!! You did not test if begore release?

Wont go thought terms screen, even after tapping accept no matter how many times. Please test your software at least once

It loses the connectivity with Chromecast on YouTube very fast! If you pause a video for just a few minutes it disconnects and you lose the entire playlist! This is terrible. This timeout should be allowed to be configured by user or even increased! It breaks the experience!
