Love this device! However it needs to be upgraded so that it works with a 5g network or else it cant detect the 5g wifi network.

Not sure why but Chrome Cast loses connection with the Crave TV app. I am unable to cast even after resetting Chrome Cast.

I cant mirror my iPad to Chromecast like I can on Apple TV.

Great device, doesn’t work with iPhone though. So tired of apple products not being compatible with anything else, not purchasing anymore.

the new update is amazing. it added Facebook and flickr albums supports so sweet. tyvm google.

Awesome app but you need to advertise Google because then more apps will work with chrome cast so I could watch City TV on my Chrome Cast.

My Chromecast worked perfectly for the first nine months and then it absolutely quit. It cannot connect to my Internet for whatever reason. Could this have to do with the new Chromecast update?

This new device and the Chromecast Audio Device, has me thinking about cutting the Shaw Direct Satellite TV cord, if they work as promised. I’m waiting for Santa to deliver them. I already have one connected to our bedroom TV, and it just works. So, 5 Stars for the App that turns my iPad into a Smart Remote and my non-Smart TV into a true Smart TV. Best $46 I ever spent.

Doesnt work with any Apple products

You cant beat chromecast. Ive rarely had issues casting and certainly no more than I did with apple tv. The battery life of your phone or tablet will thank you too. It doesnt have all the extra features that a Roku or apple tv have, but all of the analytics show that most people barely use those after the first week anyways. Dont listen to the fanboys and fangirls, their bias is obvious. Considering its 1/4 the price and has all the features that youll actually use, save your money and spend it on something nice for a loved one or yourself.

App is fine, but the chrome cast dongle has serious connectivity issues.

For some reason when I go to settings I cant find the wifi network that Chromecast is supposed to have listed? I followed all the instructions but it did not work...

We have chromecast on three different tvs in our home as it works well and is so much cheaper than the alternatives. We use it mainly to watch Netflix but have also used it for other apps including those that play music videos. It was quick and easy to set up and doesnt cause us any issues.

When I first put Chromecast on, I could cast TED, Plex, and all the other apps. Turn it off - and next day, all I could cast was YouTube. Do a factory reset - and everything was fine. Next day - a repeat of the same BS. All I could cast was YouTube. Chromecast is a rip-off: a glitchy, messed up piece of garbage.

This device was tribal and does not work correctly I never can cast with iphone to cast my photo or films to TV

Everything is AWESOME! You can control your chromecast very well and... Its just sooooooooo awesome. 5 stars for me.

If you are ready to deal with the minor issues that comes with it its worth the cost. However at times it wont work. Obviously when you need it. It is a gadget, dont have high expectations.

Hi, this device is amazing but is its missing one very important feature. Since anyone can control this device, its not that secure even in your WIFI. Can you guys please bring some sort of password feature. Thank you.

your latest update, booted me off my network and wont let me back in. tried unplugging, rebooting, resetting.. I want a new one! you wasted an hour of my life. only rated a star because i was forced to
