Disappointing, hard to set-up compared to Siri or Alexis

No matter what’s on the market out there, Google Home can and eventually will do it better.

If it would only pair with everything instead of half the time not working or stop working. The google home seems to crash a lot and we have to re-start it.

I’ve had a Chromecast for years. I downloaded this app to try the advertised additional functionality. Every couple a days the Chromecast icon would disappear. Finally I was going to delete and reinstall the Home app. As soon as I removed the app Chromecast started working perfectly again.

When it does it’s great but it seldom does

I get messages on my Google Home to re-link devices in Google home, but there is no obvious way to do this.

I hate it everytime i grab it to relocate it on my desk it stops playing music, how annoying.

This app is amazing

This does what it is supposed to do, and it works perfectly with Apple devices.

I totally love my Google Home

I have two home minis and a standard home. They work well for new tech. You must be very precise all the time to get what you want completed. Google makes it hard to access pandora playlists, and often assumes the playlist doesn’t exist redirecting you to google play. When using a Chromecast google will only use primary account not secondary for Netflix through voice commands even if you try to specify. The mobile app site reminds me of something blackberry would have made, in that the action windows use slide feature way too much. All in all love the system and can’t wait for improvements. Puts Alexa and Siri to shame. Would love voice choices in the future. Morgan Freeman? Danny DeVito? Liz Hurley? Judy Dench? Someone’s gotta be bored enough to sit through voice programming.

Usually I love this app, but I’ve had to reboot my chromecast so many times over the last few weeks. I don’t know what update was made since then but it has gotten really annoying. I’ll rate 5 stars once this stops happening again all the time.

Google home mini won’t, unlike all other devices in my house, connect to WiFi. Threw it in the trash and will go with Apple.

This app has evolved a lot since its inception. It has become super duper fast recently and introduction to widget is a cherry on top. I could say this is one of the Best Widget ever as it loads and updates I. real time. Thank you google.

I absolutely love how easy it is to control with your voice and how well it works but I have a problem with the music feature. It doesn’t allow me to listen on my google home with Apple Music and as I do not have Spotify or google play it makes it almost impossible to listen to music. Please add that feature. Otherwise really cool!

It would be great if there was an easy way to switch which device youre controling in the widget. I have 3 Chromecasts, 1 Chromecast audio and 3 Google Home Mini. Most of these devices are always on or theyre being used by someone else in the house. Thanks for the hard work!
