Google Cast cant find my device and is very inconsistent! Used to be so good and easy to use. Now its frustrating.

I start YouTube playlist then come back in an hour or so and loose sync so when I restart the app sync to chrome cast it restarts the videos. Amazon firestick just works.

For the Apple Watch.

I was excited at first, but this ruined my day. Worked good the 1st time after 6 tries. 2nd time was a nightmare. Too much hassle and you have to reconnect every time. Time for me to return it and look for something else.

Ive been using this app, in conjunction with my Chromecast and HBO NOW for the past 2 weeks with no issues. Super easy setup, havent had to reboot my Airport router, my phone or the Chromecast at all.

Have to restart the chrome cast dongle every time I have to use it. Sometimes even that doesnt work

This is a terrible product it buffers frequently and most times doesnt even connect at all. It is literally useless. I am so disappointed I expect more from a Google product, dont waste your money on this. I have heard great reviews about the Amazon stick.

Unstable and wont detect chromecast. Junk! Get a Amazon Fire Stick. I own both because a family member purchased the Chromecast for me but it is terrible!

Thought Id be able to cast my iPhone screen. Apparently you can only cast specific apps.

I have had my Chromecast for about a year now and its worked right up until a month ago! No matter how many times I connect it to the Internet, it wont register. However, my other sticks work. Can you all please send out an update to fix this?! Pleaseeee!

Chromecast worked. This does NOT! Froze while playing YouTube video. Froze my iPad. Could not see my wifi network. Would not recognize my network password. After more than 5 attempts at setting up, it finally installed successfully. App is very unstable. Old chromecast worked. This does not. Please pull from Store until Google supplies you with an app that works consistently. Even corrupted my wifi network! Had to reboot modem/router and reboot Roku and reboot Chromecast device and reinstall it. No excuse for this type of behavior. I am not your beta tester. Get it right, then release it.

Please add screen casting/ mirroring functionality.

Honest opinion, these people (negative reviewers) are doing something wrong, or have a crappy wifi setup. Bought this Chrome unit from Walmart on sale for like $20 (go ahead and compare to Firestick prices) and with the free app, I GET TO WATCH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING ON ANY TV ANYWHERE **with wifi or decent cell service** !! I will admit setting the thing up was a slight headache, but after some playing around, function is seamless. Havent had any issues, dont know what the 1 and 2 stars are complaining about - likely an issue with the user, not the Chrome cast.

Not sure what more people want this app to do. Its simple and does what its suppose to do. Like the title says ... 5⭐️‼️

Google shouldve made a solid useful app to go along with this. I need many different apps just to do basic stuff. Switching between horrible 3rd party apps just to view a pic or a video is not enjoyable. Buy a roku instead.

its fine, but theres apps I wish it were compatible with- like Tidal.

My Bf has this on His Galaxy grand prim and it works fairly well it freezes occasionally but it starts to work again after disconnecting and reconnecting but I have a iPhone 5c and it wont let Me connect to it so it wont mirror My screen. Please help Me fix this issue Thanks

My first ever review. This is a terrible invention. I wanted a way to board sat music to my home stereo. I was between this and the rocketfish Bluetooth receiver. The bluetooth had a range of 35 feet whereas the chromecast worked anywhere you were connected to the network. What I did not understand is that I would be limited as to what I could broadcast. I couldnt listen to my iTunes music. I was asked to upgrade to Spotify premium in order to broadcast that music. Needless to say, Im on my way back to Best Buy to get the rocketfish so I can listen to whatever I want. Do not buy.

Google wanted to create a product that limited you to their partners and instead of using a standard like blue tooth I cannot use all of my music. I use Amazon and iTunes and neither will cast. So I just bought a useless product for me. I gave it two stars vs one since it does have good features like grouping multiple chromecast devices that allow you to cast across multiple items on one network. Sad that the top music choices of mine would not work. Use Bluetooth and chromecast Google so everything will work. And those apps that can cast will have the extended functionality!
