This hasnt been working since the new update. The option to cast (the little square in the right of Netflix/Hulu) is no longer there and i have no clue why that is. Whats up chromecast??? Fix this!

Have a second-gen Chromecast, and it works extremely well. Love casting from our Mac and iPhones.

No problems up until today 5/17/16. Chromecast will not show up on plex video app. I reset the chromecast device, restarted my phone and tv, reset my router.... Nothing worked! I see a lot of recent reviews reporting last update or two has caused Chromecast to stop working. Hope Google reads these!!!!!

It seems other people are having this problem. After I updated to Google Cast, nothing works. My Chrome Cast is now useless. I loved it and am so disappointed. Please fix whatever the update broke.

Ive had no problems since the updates to google cast and etc... Its possible the update corrupted your device unfortunately. I love my Chromecast and this app works great for the back drops and maintaining the Chromecast itself.

Too many updates to a device that was working great. Thanks Google. Back to Roku, the standard in this area of the market. My Rokus have never failed me.

As others are reporting, after the last update, Chromecast no longer works from my ipad mini.

Been enjoying Chromecast for a while now. After latest updates on iPhone / iPad & app itself its not even an option for Netflix or Hulu. Rebooted & reinstalled all over the place & no luck. Very disappointed that I cant find a solution to this. Also disappointed that my apps & system would convince me I need updates just to make this whole set up obsolete. Fix this, please.

Worked awesome until the last update! Every app crashes or lags! Hope they fix this ASAP!!

Since the most recent update mine no longer works at all. Frustrating.

After this last update the "Google cast" doesnt work. It was working fine when it was a chromecast.

My chrome cast was working fine until I updated it...now I cant find my chrome cast when it tells me to connect it to my wifi. Very frustrating! Please fix.

The cromecast is not connected to my phone it said that is already set up but it was working fine and stop working all of sudden

Wont work. Used to but not now. Had a friend connect his iPhone and his works but mine doesnt - guessing it has to do with the updates like all the rest have previously posted

What the heck google.... Fix it please, I love chrome cast but you really jacked this one up!

Chromecast used to work perfectly from my computer, phone, and tablet. Now it does not work at all from my phone or tablet (the Chromecast is not even discoverable anymore) and its hit or miss from the computer. The Google Cast "upgrade" is horrible. I now have 2 Chromecast devices that are practically useless. I used to rave about how awesome Chromecast was...
