The app may need an upgrade. My chromecast itself works and my laptop recognizes the chromecast but if I try to use it on my phone the chromecast cant be found and I have to reset the chromecast to set it up again. It will set up fine but disappear from my phone again 10 minutes later.

It would be a 5 star app if screen mirroring were available for iPad and if you could have shortcuts to the compatible apps inside the chrome cast app, but as is I give it a 3

Dont forget to go to your Chrome browser and add the chromecast extension. While it worked automagically with my Nexus tablet, I had to manually add it to my Dell Chromebook. I suspect that thisll also have to be done with iOS.

Love it! Using shomi and bell fibe! Dont know if its the right place for this.. But i was thinking it would be amazing if we could plug in our earbuds in the mobile device to get sound of casted content.. :) dont thank me..

Cant even use the app because it crashes every time I try to open it.

Doesnt work on iOS 7...wont open, keeps crashing. Was this app even tested? Stay away.

Since the last update this app wont run at all; crashes on load. Please fix.

Why dont they test these updates before they release them?

App does not open anymore, completely useless.

Ever since I updated the app , its constantly crashing and theres no fix to it. Luckily I can watch netflix directly through the app but this is annoying.

Ever since i updated, casting does not work. Please fix this google.

Short version, you get what you pay for and with chromecast you get junk. But a Roku stick and save yourself the trouble. If you travel to any hotel anywhere, chances are this will not work for you. It will either not connect to you device, not pick up the network of some other issue. Garbage at best.

Im loving this product more & more everyday because of the apps that have come along. I used another streaming item that was at least twice the price & not nearly as easy to use. This latest update is great, keepem coming.
