Still learning how too use my Google Assistance but so far I love it. I have integrated a lot of my home automation devices. Id like to get one for all the rooms of my house where I spend the most time and link them together. Its a great app with a lot of potential.

Will NOT cast to the tv, complete garbage!!!!

I followed the instruction to add Wink into my home control and was told me Google assistant that it has been added and everything is ok..When I ask Google to turnnon the lights Google hoe promptly td me there are no device even tho minutes ago It told me it was added successfully!!! I would return it if I did not get this as a gift.

This app rarely works so sorry we bought everyone google home should have purchased Amazon Echo!

Ive had chrome cast for some time, and while it worked as long as I didnt move it, once I tried to plug it into a different television in our home, it couldnt connect to our network. I found it odd, but thought maybe it was a dead zone in our place, so I gave up and put it back in the original TV in which it started. Well, now when I try to add that device, even though it already existed in Google home before I unplugged the chrome cast, I cannot in any way make the app recognize my very strong Internet connection or add any new device whatsoever from a phone, computer, or tablet. So if you want this app to work with your chrome cast in one device without being able to move it or have it stop working for no reason. I guess it might be for you.

Is very friendly

Not a lot more I can I add except for the fact that most of the stuff you really want to use you have to sign up for a subscription through by the end of it you could end up paying 40 or $50 a month Im so tired of everything being a subscription now you cant just buy something anymore.

Every few weeks, Ill hook a new feature which keeps it fresh. New favorite saying "hey google play smooth jazz in the living room"

On multiple networks my Google Home has problems connecting. Its a real pain.

Chromecast does not work and google fails to replace it under warranty (this is why you wish your hardware sold like iStuff)

Really enjoying the app

Setup for my Chromecast was a breeze with this app. After set up, you dont need this app much anymore (unless you want to tweak background image settings). Casting is primarily done from the apps that source the stream (Netflix, Hulu, etc).

I love this app the functionality is great but Im a bit annoyed that I have to continuously re add the tv like the app doesnt remember the tv. There are several kinks. Its really making me look into switching back to android.

This app works well, but could do more. A simple example is having the controls on the locked screen when using Netflix, YouTube, etc. Im totally fine with using my iPhone as a remote, but find it very annoying to have to unlock the screen every time I want to pause or play.

The chromecast icon keeps disappearing in YouTube without any rhyme or reason.

Im experiencing the same problem as DavidCanadian. The cast icon does not appear in my apps either, and even though my TV shows that I am connected, my device is not even listed in Google Cast for me to be able to reboot it. Worst update experience ever.
