I had trouble with it working on Pandora, Netflix,and YouTube... But I turned on Bluetooth and it should work.

It took forever to make it link up with my iPad to begin with, never worked with my iPhone. After latest updates the thing is worthless. I do not recommend!

This update Borked my chromecast 1. It no longer connects to wifi as the majority of reviews have stated! Very disappointed!!!

If you bought chrome cast so that u don’t need HDMI wire to cast ur video or movie from your computer.. download the google chrome ad on… its easy… it works for yify movie… Omaygod…. this thing is awesome for only $35…. highly recommended… 5 star for the chrome cast… apple chrome cast ap 1 star

Wont work w iTunes. Doesnt work unless you have Pandora or Spotify premium. Cant play radio stations from the web.

I just installed my chromecast yesterday and was surprised to see how few things I could actually watch without a paid membership. This was a gift from my dad, but between a Roku, Amazon and mobile xfinity its really nothing new. And today I was blown away by how fast my phone battery drained without much use! That has to be it. Going to uninstall the app and see.

I thought my chromecast was just getting old, it happens. But I just purchased the newer chromecast yesterday from Bestbuy and its having the same problems. Both chromecasts seem to disappear as soon as I complete the setup process. No amount of resetting, restarting, or reconnecting will fix it. They work about 15% of the time now. Based on the other reviews, it looks like this has been a problem for MONTHS. Millions of people use chromecast, you can buy it in almost every electronics store, and yet no one with an Apple device can seem to make it work anymore. Where are you Google? Im returning mine to Bestbuy and trying something else.

Used to work. Not anymore. I Wonder whos responsible for trying to make our lives a little more miserable, Google or Apple.

The update to the device and to the app broke everything. No longer connects nor sees Chromecast device. Honestly who tests these releases?! Ironically it forces the update on your device and says "making things better!" ROFL

Ever since I updated my phone it doesnt even show the signal on my phone but before that it would play for a lil while then disconnect its annoying .i just think it doesnt work for iPhones 6 or 6s anymore

Chromecast no longer works. Every app gives the same error: "No connection to the cast device is present" even though Chromecast is set up and connected to my wifi network. Ive given up on Chromecast, and Im now enjoying my new Roku.

but now i have to constantly restart, reinstall chromecast and it still constantly has issues connecting with my computer and my internet. we bought a new one and had the same problems, it was almost worse. doesn’t seem worth the trouble anymore. I would look into an apple TV or another device. Really disappointed in Google on this one.

Has to be unplugged reset whenever I would like to use it. I know use it maybe once a month as it is too frustrating to use. Even after a few episodes it goes undetected again (and yes we have the most current equipment and can regularly run 3 tablets and two phones off of the wifi). Nice when it works but if I had bought it, it would have been returned.

chromecast is great !! Just not sure i need this app ?? Set up on my computer!!

Have a first-gen and second-gen Chromecast, and both work extremely well. Love casting from our Mac and iPhones.

I used to be able to stream several shows and whole movies now it quits at least twice on one 50 min episode it was worth the $35 at the time because I got a few years out of it DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ONE AT THIS POINT..hopefully its a software issue and they can fix I will change my rating if thats the case

Not sure what kind of network setup a lot of these reviews have, but stop blaming the Chromecast because your internet isnt up to spec. I have 3 Chromecasts on different TVs and always see them whenever I try to cast. Use several cast capable apps from iPhone 6 and an iPad without issues.

But needs SyFy

Waste of time and money, this product is garbage.
