Where the hell can I do my searches

With the latest update released 5 days ago , the voice commands to control my hue lights no longer work. The Home says turning two lights off but nothing happens, the lights remain on . The lights work fine via the hue app. I reinstalled the Home app , relinked hue and things work fine now. We love it. The kids love it even more .

That’s all I can say really. I have had every possible issue with my google home devices. Was considering getting the pixel but now I guess I am returning my google homes and sticking with iPhone and the home pod. I guess you get what you pay for.

Chromecast keeps telling me that Surround Mode is enabled and to use my remote to control volume...except I only have an effing stereo TV and the volume is maxed just to barely hear it. Latest update has ruined my Chromecast

I don’t like the fact that just because you reset and unlink your google account from the google home when you go to set it up again it retains information from the previous set up like your voice recognition.

Volume no worky worky with iPhone and pandora with multiple chromecast devices

Every time I ask her to play music she will play 1-2 songs and Stop then when I ask her to play any genre she plays that genre in Christmas songs! I was hoping that would stop since Christmas was months ago but nope! She’s still going it.

Leaps and bounds ahead of Alexa The app however is confusing. Often find it difficult to access music controls. As this is the primary function I use, I would like to see a more user friendly UI. Also would like to see more (official) diverse music streaming platforms like SoundCloud or 8Tracks not just Google and Spotify...

I find it really hard to use this and Chromecast. Way too many interventions of privacy. Google wants me to link all my accounts. Won’t let me watch without doing it.

I Understand that you push this out a little quick. But I think by now you should have it figured out to do basic commands like hey Google pull out Lucy in the sky with diamonds in now and a can not that’s just you know amateur. Reason that I picked google voice because I thought I was getting the Google sort search with it yeah assistance OK and it’s buggy and it’s got like new version and the rest that the next thing babe do you work on one thing and get a great good to know that I think it great. And I wish I wouldn’t had to fix it so much. You need to do massive overhaul Arena I know that it understands what I’m saying or somebody does because I can go in at the end of the day and look at every single thing I asked her to do it without a recorded address wasn’t able to understand it so you get your programmers to look at your algorithms so you can learn how to decode it quicker. Ground Hog Day

This has the worst UI ever. Finding settings is a nightmare and I’ve given up trying to setup support for multiple homes/locations.

I THINK Google home is a vehicle for establishing an “Android” like environment on every phone. Why else would it make many of the same features and apps available through Home as are already available through the Apple Store on my iPhone? Fine enough, BUT, my real issue is the poor integration with Chromecast - the Google TV streaming device and spotty execution of some services. First Chromecast: the smartphone operated controls on Chromecast are abominable. When watching TV, if my phone locks its screen after several minutes of disuse, it loses synch with Chromecast. The next time I open the phone to control playback, the controls are unresponsive. It requires resetting my app with the Chromecast before it functions again. I’m specifically thinking of Utube TV here, but the same can be said for other Chromecast apps I subscribe to. Second, on Utube TV, when steaming to my phone and I manually lock the screen, the streaming stops! Why? Who says I don’t want to continue listening to the audio portion of a sports game or news program while I’m on the street or driving? So who made that short sighted decision? Third, who designed the Utube TV controls? Using Slider to advance or return to a missed section of programming is all but useless; and the “rewind” / “advance” buttons can’t be programmed! What about programming “spin dial” for the slider - like Apple’s old iPod players - with a counter for the time slide? All in all: Nice try, but no cigar.
