Can’t seem to get it to work consistently

It seems we keep discovering more about our google home minis. My wife came & sat on my lap, so I said, "Hey, google, play me some cuddling music", and surprise, Google has a Cuddling Country mix! Good job, google!

I just signed up for a paid Google music subscription. Now when I say "play music" no sound comes out! Terrible. I usually live Google products, but this Google home is poorly tested and has lots of bugs.

Not to be trusted. Also can’t keep a connection. App often won’t see any of the 4 tv’s attached until I go through the settings and view connected devices. Very very slow. Can’t stream well. Not a patch on AppleTV.

this app has zero functionality on apple devices. music cast and screen cast have been removed from this app in a futile attempt to get ppl to change their phones to android. it is deceptive marketing to say the least. anyway seeing as how music casting and screen casting dont work this app becomes completely useless and thus should be removed from the appstore.

It never finds my chrome device. Itll find it once after setup then itll stop

Too many options make it painful to find settings required to do the simplest things!!!

Seriously, you don’t support Hulu!! I bought a chromecast and a google home mini to watch Hulu, and apparently it doesn’t even support it. Change this and I will change my review to 5 stars!

I hate it it won’t help me

It has a ton of features but it could have better interconnectivity with more products.

In October 2017 I bought a 4K 55” Toshiba from Best Buy with built-in Chromecast, so I’m stuck casting Netflix via a buggy, completely unreliable Google Home app. Say you want to sit down and watch something. You turn on the tube, open the Netflix app, connect the TV via the cast icon and off you go. But if you want to change what you’r watching or pause to go get something...be prepared to get stuck. I’ll choose something else in the Netflix app and click play and it’ll start playing on my phone while the show I was originally watching continues on the TV. I then have to go through a series of disconnections/connections, app closing/opening...blah, blah, blah. Annoying and a waste of time. Google Home and Chromecast are a nice idea, but at this time they’re buggy, unreliable and annoying. Not recommended.

The app is basic but could include a bit more options in settings. Annoying when you get redirected to a browser page to do things also.

Have to re set up everything each time I want to watch. Seems to loose connection. Takes an hour of frustration to get it set back up again. Resetting internet, everything. Hell....

I have one complaint. It’s this: I would like to be able to control this device while away from home. My Amazon device has this feature.
