Google Home App Reviews

I am using two Google Home devices with my iPhone. Tried to setup reminders, none of them are worked. Also calls are not going to my contacts though my iPhone contacts are synced.

Cannot figure out how to do anything. Very disappointing

First off, I just want to say, way to go, Google! Nice invention. I am having a lot of fun exploring with my GH. I mean when she does answer commands. I asked GH to call my iPhone and it states that it can make my phone ring on full volume right now, but it never make my phone ring. Even though my number is Stored within the GH app. What a bummer! ? GH needs work!

The Google Home mini will not allow iPhone users to sync contacts to make calls. I even downloaded the Google Assistant app thinking maybe the two would talk but they don’t.

Overall its a pretty confusing app. The home screen has a bunch of cards I dont ever want and instead it takes like 4 taps or more to get to things like settings for the home control section. Theres also no easy way I can find to configure or view all the alarms I have setup. While this app is much more responsive than the Alexa app, the Alexa app is much better designed with easy access to things I want to do and doesnt bombard me with stuff I dont care at all about.

It appears to support multiple accounts, but doesn’t gracefully. The controls are not provided consistently. It will also jump back and forth with Google Assistant. The result is extreme frustration.

Highly recommend much more voiceover friendly than the Amazon echo

It’s very easy to use and the compatibility between my devices are great!

Doesnt connect to phone. Doesnt read all events in calendar. Debating whether to return it.

Tried to link my account and only error message I see is cannot link your Google account to the device no troubleshooting no help my device is in same wifi. 100% frustrating

New update gave a little more options for the Google Home Mini. I hope there’s another update coming in the next week ?

I have not gotten to use the app fully with my google home that much, with what I have used it for it’s been great!!! My kids love to play dance music before bed, plus you can call Santa how cool!!!

Google home is smart, funny, and informative. Highly recommended

I use it quite a bit. I like it’s convenience. Thanks for the app

The platform is one of the best in its class. Having said that, I think there is room for improvement both at the client and server-side. E.g. on client side it would be great to open google music or YouTube by tapping that card in google home app. On server-side syncing data woyld be perfect. For example the ability to resume songs that I was listening in my car on my google home.

My home minis does not want to upload my contacts from my iPhone. I looked ways to do it and it didn’t work. Also I hate using radio apps I wish we could play music from apple since I already paid for it
