Not as user friendly as it could be

Its nice for the most part! I cant find what Im in fast enough to pause or stop what Im watching when I need to. It takes sometime to catch up. Sometimes it even takes a few tries to connect..but other than that works very well. We are enjoying the convenience!!!

Une belle arnaque/ do not buy

I thougth I vould use the google chromecast audio to listen to my music on my NAS... no, somehow chromecast needs a continous connection to internet!! Not a Nice device for your privacy--> you just have to agree to let it having access to all your digital medias and and grant it a continous connection to internet without knowing what the device does with your data, and leaving an opened door for hackers!! The app seems ok for the little I used; a pity there is not one dedicated to Chromecast; for me this app seems a forcing from google to enter the hause automation world... I would give it a 2 stars if the device was not that poor...

It is now impossible to change the resolution yourself. Shitty device

Since the update I cannot cast from YouTube anymore. It also doesnt remember or recognise my TV. Works via VHX app, but that is the only one that works now. Such a shame. Love this feature but am disappointed as I cant use it now - usually use pretty much every day.

chromecast streaming funktioniert nicht mehr

Totally useless app. My Tv has built in Chromecast but it doesnt detect it. I expected the app to help cast media from my phone to the TV but sadly theres no such functionality.

Love this device. Having so much fun! Using in Canada and works just fine!

Simple to use. Replaces my airport tv for Netflix and since they removed youtube from earlier generations... at $35 cant go wrong...

This app is needlessly complicated to address the single task of finding the correct WiFi address for the Chromecast to allow it to work with the users laptop. It should all be done on one page with unambiguous directions. Not jump around mixed with some unrelated activities. Maybe a new app Chromecast WiFi.

It is not compatible with my hue lights in Canada yet, which they need to fix.
