Why doesnt let you connect your whole screen to the tv from a Apple iPhone/tablet it does let you connect it from a Samsung and android but not from a Apple product.

Please add the screen and audio cast support to iPhone!!!!

Google Home app seems to find my 2 Chromecast sticks, only after I use another casting app (Netflix works best; better than YouTube) to cast just a few seconds of video. But, despite 2 Chromecast devices on my network, the Google Home app only recognizes the one to which I just cast. The Netflix app, however, recognizes both; before and after casting. The quirks continue... If I then use the Google Home app to reboot the Chromecast recognized with assistance from Netflix, when the reboot process completes, both my Chromecast devices are recognized by Google Home. And, the Home app will continue to recognize both Chromecast devices for at least... 60 seconds. If I havent begun casting with another app by then (especially YouTube and Google Play Music), I must return to Netflix; repeat the process; or, hot-stop the Chromecast device. Are the Netflix app developers actually more familiar with Googles product than are Google developers? Because they seem to be. Perhaps they could give Googles developers a code review. Otherwise, Google should get a license from Netflix for their casting code. That way, Googles apps will work as well as Netflix... with Google Chromecast.

I smell a classed action lawsuit coming your way google for this cast thing. In not going to say to much because everyone within the past month is having the same problem as me so hope you get the hint without having to get taken to court.

So Cadillac sends me a chrome cast and Im pretty excited to use it I plug it in and then Im disappointed, for some reason it plays songs at a higher pitch witch also skips and delays and with google photos its like google didnt even try, honestly it would be MUUUUUUCH better if it just displayed ur phone screen and played the phones audio output

Google home is a Horrible device get amazon device.

Forces you over to other apps for casting so whats the point of having it? Casting doesnt seem to work at all so again, whats the point? Apple TV makes more sense, too bad its not built into my tv

What a piece of junk. Constantly telling you it cant be used right now. Says theres a glitch or some other issue. Never works. Google says this is a known issue. If its a known issue then how can you sell the product? Big company for big profits not caring if the product works or not. I would return it but my return period has past.

My boyfriend and I both use our phones to cast to our chromcast device. Once he connects, my phone forgets the device and only allows me to access as a guest, which actually never works. When I try to add a new device, it takes about a dozen tries and then, sometimes its successful. This happened the same time I upgraded the app and got a newer chromcast. Not sure which the problem is, but my Apple TV never has issues.

Very easy to use.

Has the hardest time connecting when the wifi signal is very good.

I already have apps for netflix and such on my smart TV. I wanted to see if there were certain channels I would be interested in, but there is no search field, just slowly scrolling through a bunch of stuff I have no interest in. Booooo!

Give us back google keep integration with google home

Should have lock screen controls or iOS widget for the iPhone to make using the app much better.

Dont bother. App doesnt work. Wont open. Wont uninstall. Has hijacked my iPad. Furious. No support at all. What is the point.

Seriously? The most basic function of adding items to a list is gone! They sure kept the credit card and personal info gathering function though...

Chromecast doesnt even work anymore. Wont connect to anything despite following instructions exactly. Completely needless update ruined the whole process and now my Chromecast is nothing more than a worthless hunk of plastic hanging out of my tv.

After a year or two of having chrome cast it has stopped working consistently. It never works with MLB either. Constantly disconnecting from Hulu, Netflix. So frustrating ?

Not for iphones. It wont play any of your own content. They want you to use other apps or Google apps to play music
