Smart T.V. recognized the wireless connect at first, and then the link request disappeared. Unable to retrieve it again. This is not an easy task to setup. But want the artificial intelligence that Google is creating for my home and not an app based smart home. If you vehicle stops on it’s own, why do we have to flip a light switch anymore?

Now that I have a google home mini my life has changed. I love this, makes a perfect holiday gift and if you pair it with google Chromecast it will save you so much time. I truly believe Google will be the new voice of the future homes!

Without giving access to everything in my life, this POS won’t even operate as a simple speaker.

Provides very little options in regards to playing off your devices unless you have a chrome cast app, as such a smart tv. Even though I have it set up on my I Pad its unable to be used as an extended speaker, Pandora Radio it will play off my I pad. Also, the instructions I find are not user friendly. If you buy this plan what you are going to connect up with and make sure they are compatible! If you just want to use it for a radio or call people then it works great. Dont forget its listening and everything is been stored on a microchip on googles server, so Ive heard.

No access for rentals and purchases of source media.

I love my Google Home so much. Having the Assistant at my disposal is super helpful. The app is also really easy to use. 10/10

It would be great if I could setup a Bluetooth connection through this app. Currently I can only view connected Bluetooth devices in this app but I cant initiate a connection in this app. I have a Bluetooth dongle that doesnt have a UI or setting for me to connect to my Google Home. Its very annoying when watching a YouTube video and the "ok Google" command from the Youtuber triggers my Google Home. I have a iPhone and the "hey Siri" command only works for my voice. Im not sure how its done, but it would be great if the Google Home could work the same way. It would be nice if a could add my regular Chromecast to a home group to play audio or videos in multiple rooms at the same time. Another nice feature would be the option to use my Google home as a external speaker similar to airplay. My last 2 requests would require a UI upgrade to the Google Home app to control these features easily from a widget or in the app. My last request is to make all audio on the Google Home be the same level. When listening to the news, some streams are low requiring me to turn it up to 80% and other streams are loud requiring me to turn it down to 30%. Thanks for the awesome hardware and software!

Unfortunately, even though my device says it is compatible with the google Home app; it doesn’t work no matter what I try.

I think google home is great! I just wished it worked with my YouTube TV app also. It works with YouTube but not YouTube TV yet. I still find it super helpful, but sometimes you just want more. <3

The google home mini works great I love it and highly recommend it. The sound quality is absolutely amazing for the size that it is plus it’s got bass too. Thanks Google!

Doesn’t recognize an established chrome cast

I have lost control of my e we link devices even though they are still listed in my assistant. I’m very close to returning all 5 of my devices.

In addition to me being an IT professional and owning both the Amazon Echo Dot (which I LOVE) and the Google Home Mini, I have found myself recommending the Google Home Mini (GHM) to friends and family. What makes the GHM better in my opinion is the fact it integrated with the Google ecosystem which includes YouTube and Google Music. The main things that you find yourself asking these devices are search engine related questions like commute times, weather, recipes, and random trivia. The GHM is integrated into the Google ecosystem which provides the best lookup support and has about a ten year head start on the competition when it comes to voice recognition. It also, unlike the Echo, retains the context of your query in case you want to ask a follow up question on the same topic.

I love the products. But he app is confusing and not organized well. Fix it.

Doesnt play my music library

First, it can’t pair to my chrome cast. Then, miraculously, on another screen it’s already there! Then it won’t play from the phone unless I use chrome. Fine. Add that. Then “home” wants to link accounts, but wait, it won’t do it. FRUSTRATING!!!!

Every time I try to use this, it never detects my chrome cast. Not sure if this a problem with my chrome cast or with the app

I’ve tried it all... Alexa, Siri, humans and Google is by far the best.

Seems like such a complete waste for the Bluetooth on the home mini to ONLY connect to your phone instead of adding the capability to connect to a larger Bluetooth speaker. Wish it was like the AMAZON DOT. They seem to not be dropping the ball on innovation.
