Killing my battery?

I just installed my chromecast yesterday and was surprised to see how few things I could actually watch without a paid membership. This was a gift from my dad, but between a Roku, Amazon and mobile xfinity its really nothing new. And today I was blown away by how fast my phone battery drained without much use! That has to be it. Going to uninstall the app and see.
