This app works amazingly if you dont have any home automation stuff. The Google home devices all work and sync well and it has an easy time setting up rooms. Enter home automation. We have WeMo devices and some Hue bulbs and the integrations will connect your account, but from there its very nebulous. 100% of the time it gives an error when assigning a device to a room, but it still works 50% of the time. You also cant delete custom rooms, so I have a list of "Custom Room" rooms and when I try to delete them, it errors. Great first attempt, but this could use a lot more polish.

Google home is super helpful in everyday life in many ways.

Unusable, how about adding search?

When it connects and actually cast the videos I’m trying to stream, it’s great. I’m having difficulties actually connecting more times then I’m connecting. I’ve tried restarting my device and the app and the tv, nothing seems to fix the issue. I’m using an Iphone 6s with the most up to date iOS. Please fix!!

This stupid piece of crap HAS MY TV CONNECTED yet doesn’t play. It takes me phone calls and hours of my life to stream through the B.S. and the next day???? Gone!!!! And I have to f with it for another g d hour!!! Worthless!!!!!!!

I love it but need more options using Lutron to open and close my Serena shades

The latest update of chrome is making all of my apps freeze and disconnect when I’m trying to watch. Other than that I usually like it.

I have the original unit and it works very well! Easy to hook up! Need help? Ask me! Remember though...I am rating the device and how it works...not Google Customer service which is extremely difficult to get hold of!

This app is so slow to load on my iPhone 7 and the shopping list takes even longer. I would also like to control my home from buttons on this app instead of it just telling me what I can say. Overall this gas potential but it is not even close to being reached.

Disappointed that my Google mini doesnt recognize when my Chromecast is playing something. Whats the point of an assistant-driven ecosystem if the parts done talk?

Got for Christmas it’s a waste of space you have to buy all these attachments for it to do anything

When you use it you should have it so you can have more that one shopping list. It is very annoying for my mom when she can’t make a list for different stores. But Alexa can.

It’s amazing companies still make apps like this. Especially for Google. There are so many hidden features and setting buried in the hamburger and other menus. And yet the main screen is just for advertising features I don’t use.

The speaker will randomly disconnect. The app gives absolutely no guidance or information as to why, or how to set it back up. It is EXTREMELY frustrating. Don’t waste your money.
